US tv network ABC are prepping a V remake for the upcoming 2009-2010 season. Steve McPherson, President of ABC, says his network’s remake could possibly consist of four seasons, planned in advance, each with 13-22 episodes each. The V remake is planned to air mid-season. ABC have also released two previews, featuring Morenna Baccarin as the alien leader, and Scott Wolf as a journalist (possibly the Mike Donovan role?)
Looks good to me, I can’t wait to see more from this remake. Hopefully if this is successful we may one day see Kenneth Johnson’s Second Generation sequel make it to television…
