Thought Bubble, the UK’s newest and best comic convention is taking place in November of this year. As part of the build up to the event, Thought Bubble are hosting free sequential art workshops throughout the year and the first to be announced is a How to Draw Manga Creatures workshop with Yishan Li.
Timed to coincide with the Breeze International Youth Festival, acclaimed UK manga artist Yishan Li will be setting up camp in the coffee bar at Travelling Man on the 28th June, teaching the basics of how to draw manga and, if you’re a more experienced manga artist, she will be reviewing portfolios and offering advice on breaking into the industry. As part of this 2 Day Manga Event, artwork from the workshop will be displayed at the Hyde Park Picture House on the 29th June and a winner will be chosen from all the entries, with he or she receiving a special prize.

Entry to the Manga workshop is FREE and takes place at Travelling Man, 32 Central Rd, Leeds, LS1 6DE. All the anime screenings take place at the Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds.
