RoboGeisha, the latest OTT film from the writer-director of Machine Girl, Noboru Iguchi, and the special effects director of Tokyo Gore Police, Yoshihiro Nishimura, is set to be released theatrically in Japan this October.
There have been two completely insane trailers released for the film so far, if you haven’t seen either trailer – where have you been? – you can see them here and here. Now I’ve managed to track down some exclusive production stills and behind the scenes photos from RoboGeisha, including this shot of director Noboru Iguchi (left) and actor Kentarô Kishi on set:
No word on whether RoboGeisha will be released outside of Japan yet, but after the enormous amount of interest in the first trailer (it has been allegedly viewed over 250,000 times!), surely an international release can’t be too far behind..?
