Summer Glau is reuniting with her Firefly director/creator Joss Whedon and joining the cast of the second season of Dollhouse. She will have a recurring role as Bennett, a Dollhouse employee who shares a secret past with Eliza Dushku’s Echo.
In addition to Glau, Whedon has added a veritable who’s who of TV sci-fi to the cast for the upcoming season, including: Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) as a charismatic businessman who’s Echo’s new husband, Michael Hogan (Battlestar Galactica) comes to the Dollhouse hoping to stop a psychotic family member’s killing spree, and Alexis Denisof (Angel) is a U.S. senator leading a witch hunt to track down the underground organization.
