8.00pm Back to the Future Part III (Sci-Fi Channel)
The conclusion of the classic trilogy sends Marty McFly on a rescue mission to the year 1885, where he must save Doc Brown from death at the hands of yet another member of the Tannen clan. However, there are a number of complications preventing a quick return to the future: a lack of gasoline for the time-traveling DeLorean, a band of gunslinging outlaws and a schoolmarm with affections for the smitten Doc.
9.00pm Cerberus (Zone Horror)
In Bucharest, Romania, the priceless breastplate of Attila, the Hun is robbed from the National Museum of Antiquities by a gang leaded by the despicable Marcus Cutter (Greg Evigan), and the curator Radu is killed by one of the thieves. Meanwhile, in New York City, the former assistant of Professor Radu, Dr. Samantha Gaines (CSI:NY’s Emmanuelle Vaugier), is waiting for the valuable piece for an exhibition. Jake Adams (BSG’s Sebastian Spence) visits Samantha in the museum to tell about the heist and the death of her friend, and she tells about the legend that the breastplate would have the inscription of the location of the Sword of Mars, which is guarded by Cerberus and made Attila invincible. When Samantha’s brother and addicted gambler Jack is kidnapped, she believes his debt of US$ 2,000.00 could be the reason, and travels to Romania invited by the evil kidnapper Kul Jae Sung, getting involved in a supernatural adventure with Jake.
10.00pm Lie to Me (Sky2)
Season two premiere of the US drama starring Tim Roth. A woman with multiple personalities comes to Lightman for help. The Lightman Group has to figure out is she either the killer or the witness to a murder. Meanwhile the Lightman Group is also hired to question a candidate to the Supreme Court.
11.00pm True Blood (Channel 4)
Repeat of the season one premiere. Alan Ball, creator of Six Feet Under, has a sexy, scary new drama that delves into the meticulously-crafted world of novelist Charlaine Harris. Since a Japanese scientist’s invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many people remain apprehensive about vampires living amongst them in Louisiana.
12.00am Galaxina (Movies24)
The crew of an interstellar police ship is sent to recover a mysterious crystal, the blue star. Whilst on the trip, the ships female android and a crew member fall in love and the captain gives birth to an alien who grows up on the ship thinking the captain is its mother. Classic 80s sci-fi spoof starring Stephen Macht and Dorothy Stratten.
1.00am Brotherhood of Blood (Zone Horror)
Victoria Pratt, Sid Haig and Ken Foree star in this Usual Suspects-esque claustrophobic, gory, thriller about a team of vampire hunters who infiltrate a nest of undead to rescue one of their own.
