Director Martin Campbell has told fans can expect his Green Lantern to be a different kind of superhero movie. The director described the process of making a film with about 1,300 visual effects as “mind-blowing”. He told Empire:
He’s the only superhero to my knowledge who regularly goes to another planet. Superman and Batman were essentially locked into a particular city. The Lantern isn’t so Earthbound.
Green Lantern, which stars Ryan Reynolds is due to hit theaters in 2011.
