alt_tv7.30pm Lake Placid 2 (Sky Movies SciFi & Horror)
Lake Placid 2 follows a city boy who’s visiting his father in a small town that’s recently had a number of disappearances in the area surrounding the huge lake nearby. The sheriff, an animal conservation worker (who loves animals so much she enjoys leaving live turtles as bait for crocodiles), a big game hunter and other assorted characters therefore decide to investigate the lake but end up running into some pretty pissed-off crocs. Meanwhile some topless women sunbathe and some jocks drink beer and the Academy Awards panel drop their coffee and stare in disbelief at how fantastic this film is..!

8.00pm The Dark Knight (Sky Movies Modern Greats)
Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

9.00pm Zombie Dearest (Zone Horror)
When failed comic Gus Lawton pushes his wife too far, he finds himself chasing her across the country to the abandoned farmhouse of her childhood. Given the choice between losing Deborah or living by her plan, Gus gets busy fixing up the old place. Starting with the septic tank. In a moment of desperation, he digs up the very thing he needs, a zombie who’ll do anything he wants… for now, anyway. As the zombie’s own desires threaten their plans, Gus and Deborah come together in a desperate struggle to get what they want, regardless of the cost. Zombie Dearest is a genre-bender that speaks to the “living dead” – the hunger and the horror – in all of us. It’s a wild ride that’s both smartly comic and deeply quirky.

10.00pm Teen Wolf (Sky Movies Comedy)
Unmissable 80’s classic starring Michael J. Fox. Hairy palms are just the start of Scott Howard’s problems. He already has girl problems, yearning for a fellow female classmate’s attention, his school basketball team can’t win any matches and rapidly reaching his late teens he feels too “normal”. However, with a full moon approaching Scott starts to feel different and when the “dog whistle” blows he realizes he’s not “normal” after all. The Teen Wolf is finally born, claws and all, and to his surprise finds that being a werewolf is in the family blood, just that his father, Harold Howard, was hoping it might have “skipped a generation”. Ensuing pressure on the basketball front brings the Teen Wolf to the public’s attention and for a while he can do no wrong in the whole of the school’s eyes, in fact he doesn’t miss a shot! His best friend, Stiles, sees money making opportunities and even Pamela, the teen temptress he longed to date, finally gives him something to howl about. Before long things take a turn and the Wolf’s persona takes a few knocks on and off court and his popularity is questioned. But the only person who knows that the real Scott should prevail is Boof, his childhood best friend.
