Chuck’s Yvonne Strahovski takes on ‘The Canyon’

Aussie actress Yvonne Strahovski shot to fame as Sarah on NBC’s fan-favourite Chuck. Like many TV actors she’s parlayed her television success into the movies. Her latest flick is the thriller The Canyon, directed by Richard Harrah.

Strahovski stars alongside Eion Baily as recently married lovebirds headed deep into to the Grand Canyon for their honeymoon. Will Patton co-stars as a wily old drunk tour guide who leads the pair into the canyon. Between the couples naivety and a drunk guide you know this trip to The Canyon isn’t going to end well, and it doesn’t: Patton’s tour guide is attacked by a rattlesnake, the couple get lost, they run out of food, coyotes attack them, and dun dun dun… they can’t get a cell phone signal!

The Canyon hits Region 1 DVD on November 17th. Sadly there’s no news on a UK release…
