Natalie Portman has been doing the interview circuit for her latest movie, Brothers, it was during one such round of interviews that the actress revealed to MTV that Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist) will have a role in director Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Portman did not reveal what role Dennings will be playing, however some are speculating she may be part of the hospital staff where Portman’s Jane Foster works.
Dennings joins an ever-growing cast that already includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgard, Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano and Idris Elba. I’d expect yet more cast additions as it grows closer to the scheduled January shooting date…
Thor is set to explode into cinemas on May 20, 2011.
