Barcelona-based director and producer Antoni Sole has lined up horror icon Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) to star in the upcoming horror flick Web Cam, based on a script by Sole and writers Davis and Ivan Serra.
The film, which will be shot in 3D, also stars Michael Madsen (Kill Bill) and Estella Warren (Ghost Whisperer), tells the story of a man who lures a group of high school kids to a party, films them using discreet cameras and broadcasts it on the net. Viewers are then asked to vote on who should die and who should live.
Junio Valverde has also been cast in the film alongside up and coming Spanish actress, Amaia Salamanca. Shooting on Web Cam begins next year.
