It’s almost the end of 2009 and like many film bloggers I’ve been looking back at my favourite movies of the year. I’ve already outlined my Top 10 DTV Horrors of 2009 in a previous post, and now I present my list of my top choices of cinematic releases.
This film is by no means a list of the greatest movies of the year, or the best, most oscar-worthy (in fact I doubt ANY of these are anywhere near the awards radar). It’s merely a list of the ten films I enjoyed the most this year.
This list is based on my choices on FlickChart, the movie comparison and ranking site – I’m constantly updating my FlickChart and, thankfully, you can list your choices by date which made compiling this list so much easier. These are my results for 2009:

Just bubbly under the list are: Terminator Salvation, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Adventureland, and The Last House on the Left.
I very much doubt that anyone will agree with my list but I’d love to hear your thoughts on my picks – it’s interesting to note that a few of my choices have made many a film bloggers WORST films of 2009 lists – so don’t forget to tell me what you think in the comments…
