‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ scoops two awards

Niels Arden Oplev’s first film in the Millennium trilogy, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Män Som Hatar Kvinnor), has picked up Best Feature and Best Actress awards at Sweden’s Guldbagge Awards last night. Noomi Rapace scooped the Best Actress award for her role in the film, which also also picked up the Audience Award.

The film, which received it’s UK premiere last August at the London Film4 Frightfest where it was hailed as one of the highlights of the festival, is set to be released by Momentum Pictures on March 12th 2010. There are also plans for a US remake.
