Clash of the Titans, Louis Leterrier’s remake of the 1980’s classic, stars Terminator Salvation’s Sam Worthington as Perseus, the mortal son of Zeus, king of the gods; Academy Award® nominee Liam Neeson (Taken) takes on the role of the mighty Zeus, and Alexa Davalos (Defiance) as Andromeda, a princess doomed to lose her life if Perseus does not succeed. The film tells the story of:

…the ultimate struggle for power [that] pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades, vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Warner Bros. recently confirmed that they WERE pushing ahead with the 3D conversion process on the film, and that meant that the film was subject to a weeks delay – so with that in mind, Warners have released a new one sheet (featuring the Kraken) and 4 new ‘widescreen’ posters with the new release date on, and the new tagline “The Clash Begins In 3D” – still I guess that beats “Titans Will Clash”
