The film, which stars Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) as William Burke and Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings) as William Hare, is currently lensing in Edinburgh.
Burke and Hare also stars Isla Fisher (Confessions of a Shopaholic) as Ginny, an ambitious young actress and Burke’s love interest, and Jessica Hynes neé Stevenson (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead) as Hare’s haggard and suffering wife, Lucky. The supporting cast includes Oscar-nominee Tom Wilkinson, Tim Curry, Ronnie Corbett, Reece Shearsmith, David Schofield, Allan Corduner, Bill Bailey, Hugh Bonneville, Michael Smiley, and the legend that is Christopher Lee.
