In an interview with ITN’s GameOn, Kiss front man Gene Simmons has accidentally revealed that Guitar Hero 6 is in development. Simmons claimed that he has been hired by Activision to provide voiceover work for the game.
The studio is yet to officially announce a Guitar Hero 6, but it has confirmed that there are plans to launch a new Guitar Hero title in the later half of 2010. According to RedOctane’s founder, Kai Huang, the development team is looking at incorporating the use of new technology such as Project Natal or Sony’s Move into the game. One song is already known – the band Tesla revealed their song ‘Modern Day Cowboy’ will appear in the title.
