In what has come to a shock throughout the movie blogging community, Michael Bay has announced some unbelievable, if not totally out of left field casting news for Transformers 3 – both John Malkovich and Frances McDormand are to appear in the third film in the Transformers franchise! According to Deadline Hollywood, McDormand will play the role of National Intelligence Director, whilst Malkovich will star as Sam Witwicky’s first boss….
Also announced as joining the Transformers 3 cast is Ken Jeong, aka Mr.Chow from uber-hit The Hangover. MichaelBay.com also announced that there will be a new Autobot joining the ranks in Transformers 3 – based on a Ferrari 458 Italia.
Apparently pre-shoots start next month, with shooting set to take place in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow and China.
