8.00pm Freddy’s Nightmares (Horror Channel)
Haunting series featuring surreal nightmares and your favourite not-so-friendly dream demon. While an airline heir has a nightmarish hijacking experience, a stewardess gets whisked away by a charming but suspicious stranger. Season One, episode 16.

9.00pm Fist of Fear, Touch of Death (The Unexplained Channel)
A reporter interviews fighters and promoters about Bruce Lee. Intercut with footage from old Bruce Lee films and pseudo-documentary footage.

10.00pm The Portal (Horror Channel +1)
Twisting tale of dread. When two friends take shelter from an eerie fog in the town of Mercy, they find that in this place it is always night-time and blood-curdling terror lurks around every corner.

11.00pm Lightning Strikes (Syfy)
A rural sheriff (Kevin Sorbo) faces a seemingly impossible battle when he is forced to defend his small town from a demon riding bolts of lightning and causing mayhem. From director Gary Jones (Boogeyman 3, Spiders).

12.15am The Henry Rollins Show (Film24)
The opinionated musician, actor and author gives his unique take on the state of pop culture and politics. Today’s special guest is Ozzy Osbourne and there’s music from Ben Folds.

12.45am Dinner For Five (Film24)
Swapping anecdotes at the dinner table with Jon Favreau today are Ron Livingston, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Pollack and, in one of his last TV appearances, the late Rod Steiger.
