James (Slither) Gunn’s next film Super, was the enfant terrible of Comic Con, the footage shown at the films panel going down a storm with critics and fans alike. Now those of us that didn’t go to SDCC can get a glimpse of Rainn Wilson in action – well not so much in action, but at least in costume as The Crimson Bolt:
In Super, Rainn Wilson plays an average guy called Frank, who takes on the superhero alter ego the Crimson Bolt after watching his wife, played by Liv Tyler, leave him for a drug dealer. Lacking any super powers, he compensates by swinging his trusty wrench. Ellen Page also stars in the film as Libby, a “young sociopath” who forcefully becomes Frank’s sidekick…
