First Look: Sinbad – The Fifth Voyage

Beating Chuck Russell’s Sinbad movie to the punch, Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage follows Sinbad as he embarks on his fifth voyage to save Princess Parisa from an evil sorcerer.

According to filmmakers Giant Flick Films, the movie is inspired by the works of Ray Harryhausen and the epic films of yesteryear. Sinbad himself is played by Persian-American actor Shahin Sean Solimon and the cast also features a “surely he must be doing this as a favour (or a HUGE paycheck)” Patrick Stewart (X-Men, ST:TNG)…

Looks terrible. But you have to give the filmmakers props for using stop-motion and not CGI.
