Back in August it was announced that John Cusack would be taking on the mantle of the legendary Edgar Allan Poe in The Raven, which comes from director James McTeigue and is set in the last days of Edgar Allan Poe’s life, at the time when he becomes embroiled in a serial killer investigation.
Last month we saw the first image of Cusack on set as Poe, and now we have the first official image from the film, a rathe r moody black and white shot of Cusack and and actual raven!
The Raven also stars Luke Evans and Alice Eve. Evans plays detective who partners with Poe to search for said serial killer who has kidnapped the author’s fiancee (Eve) and has gone on a murder spree that mimics Poe’s work.
