Leonard Nimoy to voice Sentinel Prime in ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’

According to EW.com, Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy, is to voice the character of Sentinel Prime in Michael Bay’s Transformers three-quel Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Nimoy is no stranger to the Transformers franchise, having voiced the evil Galvatron in The Transformers: The Movie back in 1986.

Sentinel Prime is apparently the big brother and mentor to Optimus Prime and was a former leader of the Autobots. There have already been fleeting glimpses of the character in action (see the pic above) in the teaser trailer that was released a while back.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is released on July 1st 2011.
