Marcus Nispel to helm ‘Hack/Slash’ adaptation

It seems the long-delayed film version of Tim Seeley’s Hack/Slash, one of my favourite comics of all time, may have finally found its director. THR’s Heat Vision are reporting that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Conan the Barbarian director Marcus Nispel has signed on to helm the film which tells the story of Cassie Hack, a young girl who travels acros the US hunting and killing “slashers” – the types of serial killers you only see in the movies – along with her hulking protector called Vlad.

Alexandra Milchan, Adrian Askarieh, and Daniel Alter are producing the film under the Relativity banner… More news as we (excitedly) get it.
