Actor Garret Dillahunt has tweeted the first images from the set of Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti southern, Django Unchained, which is shooting at the Melody Ranch Studio where Dillahunt previously filmed Deadwood. Django Unchained follows Django (Jamie Fox), a freed slave, who, under the protection and care of a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself, and after assisting Waltz in taking down some bad guys for profit, is helped by Waltz in tracking down his slave wife (Kerry Washington) and liberating her from an evil plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio).
Django Unchained is set for a Christmas Day 2012 release.
